I have a question for you. My tower just keeps spinning when you do the
self test. I noticed that one of the tiny bulbs that "reads" the location
of the tower display was burnt out. Is this repariable?
Thanks Carl |

Carl,
Just because it is black does not mean it is burnt out. If you have read it with a meter and it is indeed blown, it can be replaced.
What normally is wrong is that someone has tried to adjust the graphic wheel and have the leds too far apart. Try cleaning the dust
off of them and carefully push them into a position where they are closest to each other and laying against the circuit board. Make
sure and use fresh batteries. That will fix it 80% of the time.

All information about repairs assumes you have cleaned the battery contacts and checked for loose wires. The spinning is a result of the led's not reading. Low voltage is a common problem that contributes to this.
